Aurora Property Management was founded in 1983 as a business specializing in the management of single family homes, condominiums, townhomes and apartment buildings. The firm branched out and established an independent division to address the property management needs of community associations. In December 1993, Aurora Property Management was reorganized with the community association management division established as The Colorado Property Management Group, Inc. and the rental division became Apartments & Homes, Inc.In January 1999, each division became a separately owned company.
